Hey Dazzlers! We are back with another fabulous blog post. This time we will discuss some honeymoon ideas. Summer is filled with trips and to-do items. If you are a couple looking to travel soon to celebrate tying the knot, then this blog is surely for you! To Cruise or to not Cruise
A budget-friendly, and adventurous option for our newly weds is the option of a cruise. With a cruise, you can travel to several ports depending on how long your journey is. I often see travelers visiting the Bahamas, Mexico, Greece, and more! The most expensive time to book a cruise is of course during the summer. You can find cheaper cruises during the Fall or Winter seasons. With cruises, you also have the option of making memorable experiences at several locations. You book a spa package, excursions, entertainment, and more. Some of the most popular cruise lines are Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and Virgin Voyages. If you live in Texas, your departure will be out of Galveston. It’s important that you plan ahead, and book early if you decide to do a cruise!
Excursions are a fun way of bringing your trip to life. Try Ziplining with your partner in the jungle, or how about snorkeling under the sea? Some cruises even have ziplining on their ship. Explore the amenities of the ship also, and make the most out of your trip. Cruise lines offer several packages such as dining, drinks, and pictures. This is another way for you to experience the honeymoon life!
Flights to Paradise
Have you ever wanted to fly out with your loved one to an amazing destination? Flying can cut down on the time it takes you to get somewhere. You have more time to experience paradise. Below you will find some of the top destinations that people are traveling to. These locations are in no particular order.
The Bahamas: Places like Jamaica, Nassau, and Aruba are considered paradise! If you love the water, and spending time on the beach then this is the destination for you. Snorkel, swim with the dolphins, frolic on the beach, or go jet skiing.
Spain: Madrid is always fun! Enjoy the excellent cuisine and ambiance in Spain. Their language is the romantic tongue, and they have plenty of things to do. Tour the city, experience the nightlife, or go out to watch bull riding.
Greece: Greece is a destination that a lot of people long to experience in their lifetime. I urge you to experience Greece at least once in your lifetime. They are known for their beautiful scenery/views. You can see the vast view of the ocean in Greece. Even pictures can’t do Greece justice. Go snorkeling, dive into the salty waters of Greece, go fetch some amazing seafood, and more!

United Kingdom: The UK is known for their culture, fashion, and royal family. Experience history in the UK. You will be engulfed with culture and history. Visit the london eye, royal palace, and take the famous red london bus to explore the island.
Italy: What a romantic destination for lovers. Experience a fantastic place with rich and fresh cuisine. Italy is also known for their fashion, and culture. Venice is a great place to visit if you are a water lover. For those that want to shop, visit Milan or Florence. Rome is amazing for our history lovers!
Bali: Bali is in Indonesia, and this place is known for their beaches! Have fun snorkeling or scuba diving here. Experience their fresh seafood, and Balinese cuisine. If you also love nature, then you will love it here.
Thailand: Thailand is known for their tropical beaches, massages, and resorts. I recently had some of my family members visit Thailand. They came back raving how massages and facials were done on a daily basis in their hotel, and everything was affordable for them. They experience their culture, and fruitful cuisine as well.

South Africa: Why not visit a place that is so full of life, and enriched with nature. South Africa is known for their rich cultures, cuisine, and nature. Take time to go sailing on the beach, or hiking up a long beautiful road full of nature.
Key West: I’ve encountered several Key West, Florida lovers. For my people that love the ocean, this is the destination for you. If you are in America, and don’t want to travel too far, then paradise is right at your door. Florida has a great Caribbean and seafood cuisine as well.
Japan: For those that love cherry blossoms, sushi, nature, ramen, and tea, then Japan is calling your name. For years, we have heard that Japan is far more advanced than other countries. They have a rich culture, and this trip can be seen as a once in a lifetime for millions.
Staycation me Please
Some couples don’t mind staying in their state to celebrate! I see no problem with that. In fact, you can save money, and have fun. There are plenty of things to do. Stay a few days or even a week at a respectable hotel, and find things to do for each day. A boat ride, arcade/game day, sport game day (ex. Football game or Basketball game), bowling, amusement park, swimming, winery, and axe throwing are some of the fun things you can do on your trip.
If you are in Texas, you can experience some wild life by camping. A weekend of camping is a great idea for a honeymoon for our nature lovers. You can also visit Corpus Christi (or places similar to) to experience Texas beaches. Also, we have several wineries in Texas. Fredericksburg, TX is a great location for a winery, and you can schedule tours online!
Staying in the States for a Date
Some of the most popular states to visit are New York, California, Florida, Colorado, Nevada, Texas, and more! Staying in the states is always a good idea for those that want to either save money, or have fun close to home. There are a few states that are a bit pricey, but you can stay for a few days to ease the pain of high costs. New York and California are super popular! California is a great sunshine state full of life, and water. New York has a rich, and diverse culture. Other places like New Orleans, Las Vegas, Houston, and Miami are always fun!
There’s plenty of things you can do in the states. You can sightsee, go touring, experience the ski slopes in Colorado, or go skydiving! As long as you are making precious memories with your loved one, then that is all that matters.
Summary
In summary, I say take some time to plan and figure out what’s best for you both! See what you, and your partner like to do, and go from there. Also, put the budget into consideration. Start saving, and planning accordingly. You don’t have to do the most to have fun! There’s budget friendly options everywhere. I remember hearing from a couple not too long ago, and they mentioned they went to an arcade for their honeymoon. They had a day to themselves, and that meant everything to them! It’s all about how you encounter those moments!
